Data Store

  • Managed - managed data stores are a cloud computing service in which the end user pays a cloud service provider (CSP) for access. Unlike a typical data store, users don’t have to set up or maintain these data stores on their own; rather, it’s the provider’s responsibility to oversee the infrastructure.
  • Unmanaged - hosted on virtual servers or containers and maintained by users within their respected companies. While this methodology allows more control, it requires much more resources to implement and optimize.
